I find it interesting how we as artists or photographers gravitate to certain things. For me its the nature that draws me and inspires what I enjoy. Sometimes I find that my lens has a mind of it's own and my finger reflexively documents what it wants. This may be an odd way of putting things, but in a certain sense it there is all too much truth to it. More than anything is the journey behind many of the photos that I have taking recently. I'm nearly done with the backlog of photos which is a good thing. Today's theme if you want to call it that was sort of build on going through a number of photos with similar ideas. In this case water drops which range anywhere from rain, dew, and in some cases within garden settings. Every drop is unique and can tell its own story if you are willing to let them. I think that is part of what attracts me to taking pictures of them in the first place. With having been away from DA for so long I had forgotten just how many photos there were to go through at this point. I suppose in a way that is a good thing even though I had hoped to get to my most recent ones sooner. The upside though if you will is that I have found some photos that I'd forgotten about until now that now when I see them again and in some cases find I like them more now than when I first took them. Maybe time has a way of making some shot grow on you. Whatever the case may be I'm excited to go through yet another set as time allows. I genuinely hope the photos that have been added over the last couple day have been enjoye
